"Robinson Crusoe style" houses are those located either on small islands or in remote bays accessible only by macadam roads. Sometimes this type of house is completely isolated, with no neighbors nearby, whereas in other cases there are few other houses in the vicinity. Drinking water is rainwater collected in water tanks, electricity is provided via solar panels and stove and refrigerator run on gas.
