Beautiful, small (mostly) tourist village in close proximity to an uncrowded beach. The terrace offers a stunning view of the cozy Basina Bay. The host is incredibly friendly and very helpful. The climate is fantastic-we didn’t even need to turn on the air conditioning, even at the height of summer. Lovely pine trees, lavender, and other herbs and flowers grow around and on the property, enhancing the feeling of being surrounded by nature. Lovely piece of paradise we would like to return to one day. Access to the village of Basina can be challenging-expect narrow and difficult roads. There are no shops in the village, so you'll need to travel to nearby Vrboska (about a half-hour walk from Basina). Of course, this isn’t something the host can change-it’s really a matter of local infrastructure that could use some improvement. That said, it was still one of the best stays we've had on the Adriatic coast. (Nenad Pantic, 24/07/2025)
